“Nurturing Homeless Teen Girls into Beautiful Flowers”

While browsing my Instagram page, I saw a comment on one of my post that was trending (#MaleahDavis). The logo captured my attention with its colorful design. Not to mention, I love flowers period. I read some of the posts on their page and quickly visited their website. I had an aha moment. Immediately, I saw the three (3) concepts that drew me in like a magnet: Inspiration. Impartation. Innovation.

The project beams with colorful and hopeful inspiration.

The programs offer solutions to societal issues and imparts knowledge to young sprouting minds.

The innovative concept of the founder is literally out-of-box thinking and creative genius.

I as continued browsing the site, I knew this was no ordinary project. It had to be one birth out of purpose, divinely planned to positively impact a generation of young minds who are created for greatness, but often overlooked — teenage girls, ages 14–17. These young girls have been rescued from various detrimental environments that would have or could have destroyed them physically and psychologically. However, thanks to the founder, Mrs. Shalonda Phillips, they are beautiful blooming flowers.

These young ladies are receiving the inspiration they need to keep them hopeful of seeing the beauty of life after experiencing the ugliness of their past. They are receiving an impartation of knowledge and being nourished like the exquisite array of tropical flowers they are. They are being restored and healed from the deep wounds caused by traumatic experiences. Now, they are living in a thriving and healthy environment where they receive counseling and are taught life skills that will empower them to live purposeful, powerful, and productive lives.

What’s most innovative about this project is the vision for a safe haven. The architectural plan for their home is a beautiful design using shipping containers. Yes, 40ft shipping containers! This kind of innovation is out of the box thinking that will make living out of the box a reality. See for yourself! Visit www.bloomingflowersproject.com.

And while you are browsing, seize the opportunity to TAKE ACTION! It’s a great investment.
